A projector from Marantz is the VP 10S1, whose DLP model delivers 1200 ANSI lumens, a resolution of HDTV 1280 x 720 and a contrast of 3000:1. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 1500 hours before a replacement is necessary. Thanks to the combination of optical lens shift and digital keystone correction, the projected image's position can be adjusted very flexibly. For maximum setup flexibility, the model supports optional interchangeable lenses, meaning the optics can be precisely matched to individual on-site requirements. Suitable distances can be determined using the Projector Calculator. Regarding projection size, the value of 1200 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 352 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 235 cm. Since entering the market in 2004, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
