The VP 11S2 model from Marantz combines DLP technology in the High-End Homecinema sector with 850 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 15000:1 and a native HDTV 1920 x 1080 resolution. The manufacturer specifies a runtime of 2000 hours for this projector's lamp. Both optical image shifting (lens shift) and digital keystone adjustment are included, enabling exact alignment on the screen. To meet a wide variety of installation conditions, the projector offers the option of using different interchangeable lenses. Verifying the respective distances is easily possible via the Projector Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 296 cm can be illuminated with 850 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 197 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content.
