The projector U2 by Jmgo utilizes DLP technology and, according to the spec sheet, achieves 2400 ANSI lumens and a resolution of UHD (4K2K) 3840 x 2160. With its built-in laser light source, the projector achieves a manufacturer-stated lifespan of 30000 hours, which translates to 20.5 years with 4 hours of daily use. With its built-in wide-angle optics, the device belongs to the category of short-throw projectors. An image width of 2 meters is realized from a short distance of 50 cm. A look at the light output reveals: The 2400 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 498 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 332 cm. Additionally, a built-in ambient light sensor measures the room lighting and automatically adjusts the projection settings. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P and 4K as well as 3D, meaning standard Blu-ray formats are processed effortlessly. For wireless audio output, the projector also supports Bluetooth, making it easy to quickly connect external soundbars. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. Regarding noise emissions, the model proves to be exceptionally quiet during operation, producing just 28 decibels. The projector was released in 2021 and is officially no longer distributed by Jmgo.
