Behind the name HD198 is a LCD projector by HongTianPao, whose main features include 138 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 800:1 and a SVGA 800 x 600 resolution. The manufacturer specifies a runtime of 6000 hours for this projector's lamp. With two hours of daily operation, this corresponds to a period of 8.2 years. Because the manufacturer specifies brightness in lumen specifications, we have determined an ANSI lumen value for better comparability. Regarding projection size, the value of 138 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 102 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 68 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P. This device is no longer manufactured and has been removed from HongTianPao's current lineup. Important maintenance note: It is no longer possible to procure replacement lamps for this model.
