A projector from Formovie is the Xming Episode One, whose LED-LCD model delivers 228 ANSI lumens, a resolution of HDTV 1920 x 1080 and a contrast of 1500:1. The manufacturer specifies a durability of 30000 hours for the LED light source – equivalent to a usable life of 20.5 years at 4 hours a day. To make performance data comparable based on the CVIA lumen values, we calculated an approximate ANSI lumen value. Regarding projection size, the value of 228 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 153 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 102 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P. Additionally, thanks to Google TV, the model is network-capable and can be used without external playback devices. The integrated Google Assistant ensures comfortable operation, allowing the projector to be controlled via voice commands. For wireless audio output, the projector also supports Bluetooth, making it easy to quickly connect external soundbars. Since the projector supports Chromecast screen mirroring, video signals can also be streamed wirelessly from the end device. A look at the data sheet confirms a very subtle fan noise for the projector at just 30 decibels.
