With its laser unit, the projector offers a specified light lifespan of 30000 hours – calculating to 20.5 years at four hours of use per day. With its built-in wide-angle optics, the device belongs to the category of short-throw projectors. An image width of 2 meters is realized from a short distance of 46 cm. Because the manufacturer specifies brightness in ISO lumen values, we have determined an ANSI lumen value for better comparability. Looking at practical performance, up to 504 cm can be illuminated with 2464 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 336 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content and 4K as well as 3D, meaning standard Blu-ray formats are processed effortlessly. Equipped with Google TV, the device provides direct access to a broad spectrum of streaming services. The integrated Google Assistant ensures comfortable operation, allowing the projector to be controlled via voice commands. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. Thanks to support for Chromecast, screen content can also be cast wirelessly from a smartphone, tablet, or PC to the screen. Regarding noise emissions, the model proves to be exceptionally quiet during operation, producing just 26 decibels.
