The projector L1 by Xiaomi utilizes LCD technology and, according to the spec sheet, achieves 224 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2000:1 at a resolution of HDTV 1920 x 1080. The manufacturer specifies a durability of 30000 hours for the LED light source. Daily use of 4 hours makes an operational lifespan of over 20.5 years possible. To ensure a rectangular image even with asymmetrical placement, the projector includes digital keystone correction for both the horizontal and vertical axes. To ensure objective comparability, an approximate ANSI lumen value was calculated based on the ISO lumen values. Looking at practical performance, up to 152 cm can be illuminated with 224 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 101 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P and 4K. Furthermore, thanks to Android TV, the projector functions as a standalone entertainment center for various video-on-demand services. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. For wireless audio output, the projector also supports Bluetooth, making it easy to quickly connect external soundbars. In the specifications, the operating noise is listed at a mere 30 decibels, indicating very quiet cooling.
