The Blackwing Elite Laser is a LCOS projector by CineVersum, whose specifications list 3000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 100000:1 and a UHD (4K+2K) 4096 x 2160 resolution. This is a laser projector with a light source designed to last for 20000 hours – calculating to 13.7 years at four hours of use per day. The presence of a lens shift function enables flexible vertical or horizontal positioning of the projector. The achievable distances are shown in the Lens Shift Calculator. Regarding projection size, the value of 3000 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 249 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 166 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content and 4K. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. Since entering the market in 2024, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model. This model continues to hold a solid place in our database search queries.
