The Blackwing 2 Laser MK2024 model is a 3D-LCOS projector from CineVersum, intended for High-End Homecinema applications, offering 2500 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 80000:1 at UHD (4K+2K) 4096 x 2160. This is a laser projector with a light source designed to last for 20000 hours – calculating to 13.7 years at four hours of use per day. For precise setup, the device features a lens shift mechanism that allows for optical image shifting. To plan the individual installation location, a look at the Projector Calculator is recommended. Regarding projection size, the value of 2500 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 249 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 166 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P and 4K as well as 3D, meaning standard Blu-ray formats are processed effortlessly. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. The projector was released in 2024 and is officially no longer distributed by CineVersum.
