The projector XJ S53 by Casio utilizes DLP technology and, according to the spec sheet, achieves 3000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 1800:1 at a resolution of XGA 1024 x 768. For basic image adjustment, the device is equipped with horizontal and vertical keystone correction, allowing digital compensation for trapezoidal distortion at angled projection setups. Looking at practical performance, up to 477 cm can be illuminated with 3000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 318 cm. Since entering the market in 2009, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model. Important maintenance note: It is no longer possible to procure replacement lamps for this model.
