As a projector, the Casio XJ S36 combines DLP technology with a resolution of XGA 1024 x 768, and is additionally specified with 2000 ANSI lumens and a contrast of 1800:1. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 2000 hours before a replacement is necessary. Should a perpendicular setup to the screen not be possible, the integrated keystone correction (horizontal and vertical) helps to realign the image into a perfect rectangle. A look at the light output reveals: The 2000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 389 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 259 cm. As an additional feature, an integrated media player enables the direct playback of files without an external source device. The projector was released in 2007 and is officially no longer distributed by Casio. For your information: Compatible lamps for this device are no longer available in stores.
