The XJ A242 model from Casio combines DLP technology in the Standard-Portabel sector with 2500 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 1800:1 and a native WXGA 1280 x 800 resolution. The LED unit of this model is rated for up to 20000 hours of runtime – equivalent to a usable life of 13.7 years at 4 hours a day. Looking at practical performance, up to 508 cm can be illuminated with 2500 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 339 cm. This model dates back to 2014 and is no longer part of Casio's current product range.
