As a projector for the Standard-Portabel sector, the Anders + Kern AstroBeam 640 is equipped with 1100 ANSI lumens and a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution. Looking at practical performance, up to 289 cm can be illuminated with 1100 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 193 cm. This is a discontinued model that is no longer officially distributed by Anders + Kern.

I‘ve had the AstroBeam for about 12 years now and use it for about 3 hours a week. And it‘s actually still running with the first lamp.
For those days it‘s a top device, especially the resolution, which even today not all projectors have.
By today‘s standards it‘s just not very bright, is very loud and has no HDMI input.
