The basic data of the Yamaha DPX 1 includes 800 ANSI lumens, a resolution of XGA 1024 x 768 as well as a contrast of 400:1. According to Yamaha, the included lamp lasts up to 2000 hours. A look at the light output reveals: The 800 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 246 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 164 cm. The model is currently no longer actively offered on the market by the manufacturer. However, it remains frequently searched within our database.

The only thing is, I cant understand the HDTV specification in the description.
Since the DPX1 doesnt support HDCP, you cant connect an HDMI cable. Everything else is quite half-hearted.

I‘m personally very happy with the projector! In combination with an Advantage Calibre (Teranex chip), the sun more than rises - top colors, good black level, still hard to beat in a high-end home cinema (especially since you can get it for very little money today). I know all the current highlights in the DPL sector and think that this device still remains a good recommendation.
