Known as the L1 Pro, this LCD projector by Xiaomi features basic specs of 500 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2000:1 at a HDTV 1920 x 1080 resolution. Thanks to LED technology, the projector is rated for a lifespan of up to 30000 hours – equivalent to a usable life of 20.5 years at 4 hours a day. To ensure a rectangular image even with asymmetrical placement, the projector includes digital keystone correction for both the horizontal and vertical axes. To make performance data comparable based on the ISO lumen values, we calculated an approximate ANSI lumen value. A look at the light output reveals: The 500 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 227 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 151 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content and 4K. Android TV is integrated as a smart platform, enabling direct access to streaming services like Netflix or YouTube. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. Furthermore, the model is Bluetooth-enabled, allowing audio signals to be sent wirelessly to external speakers. Regarding noise emissions, the model proves to be exceptionally quiet during operation, producing just 30 decibels.
