The projector VP03 by Wemax utilizes LCD technology and, according to the spec sheet, achieves 375 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 1500:1 at a resolution of HDTV 1920 x 1080. The LED unit of this model is rated for up to 30000 hours of runtime, which translates to 20.5 years with 4 hours of daily use. Because the manufacturer specifies brightness in ISO lumen values, we have determined an ANSI lumen value for better comparability. Regarding projection size, the value of 375 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 227 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 151 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P and 4K are supported. Equipped with Google TV, the device provides direct access to a broad spectrum of streaming services. Furthermore, the model is Bluetooth-enabled, allowing audio signals to be sent wirelessly to external speakers. Thanks to support for Miracast and Airplay, screen content can also be cast wirelessly from a smartphone, tablet, or PC to the screen. With a value of only 30 decibels, the noise level during operation remains pleasantly in the background.
