Based on DLP technology, the Polaroid U-100 device delivers 3000 ANSI lumens and a resolution of WXGA 1280 x 800 as a projector. Polaroid lists a runtime of 30000 hours for the LED in this projector. Daily use of 4 hours makes an operational lifespan of over 20.5 years possible. Thanks to its low throw ratio, the model is excellently suited for rooms with limited space. A distance of just 40 cm is sufficient to generate an image width of 2 meters. Looking at practical performance, up to 556 cm can be illuminated with 3000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 371 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P as well as 3D are supported. Furthermore, the model is Bluetooth-enabled, allowing audio signals to be sent wirelessly to external speakers. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. The projector was released in 2019 and is officially no longer distributed by Polaroid.
