Known as the HY300 Ultra, this Laser-LCD projector by Magcubic features basic specs of 260 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 8000:1 at a HDTV 1280 x 720 resolution. As an LED projector, the spec sheet indicates a lifespan of 30000 hours – equivalent to a usable life of 20.5 years at 4 hours a day. For basic image adjustment, the device is equipped with horizontal and vertical keystone correction, allowing digital compensation for trapezoidal distortion at angled projection setups. Looking at practical performance, up to 164 cm can be illuminated with 260 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 109 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content and 4K. As an additional feature, an integrated media player enables the direct playback of files without an external source device. For wireless audio output, the projector also supports Bluetooth, making it easy to quickly connect external soundbars. Since the projector supports Miracast and Airplay screen mirroring, video signals can also be streamed wirelessly from the end device. With a value of only 25 decibels, the noise level during operation remains pleasantly in the background.
