With the Cine Compact 1, Leica offers a 3D-DLP projector that features 1700 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 1500:1 and a resolution of UHD (4K2K) 3840 x 2160. With its built-in laser light source, the projector achieves a manufacturer-stated lifespan of 25000 hours, which translates to 17.1 years with 4 hours of daily use. Looking at practical performance, up to 556 cm can be illuminated with 1700 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 371 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P and 4K as well as 3D. An additional 360° projection capability allows the device to be oriented at almost any angle. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. For wireless audio output, the projector also supports Bluetooth, making it easy to quickly connect external soundbars. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. Thanks to support for Airplay, screen content can also be cast wirelessly from a smartphone, tablet, or PC to the screen. Regarding noise emissions, the model proves to be exceptionally quiet during operation, producing just 29 decibels.
