As a projector, the Leica Cine 1 / 120 combines DLP technology with a resolution of UHD (4K2K) 3840 x 2160, and is additionally specified with 3000 ANSI lumens and a contrast of 1000:1. The laser technology ensures a specified light source lifespan of up to 25000 hours. Daily use of 4 hours makes an operational lifespan of over 17.1 years possible. With its built-in wide-angle optics, the device belongs to the category of short-throw projectors. An image width of 2 meters is realized from a short distance of 50 cm. Looking at practical performance, up to 556 cm can be illuminated with 3000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 371 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P and 4K. Furthermore, the model is Bluetooth-enabled, allowing audio signals to be sent wirelessly to external speakers. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. Thanks to support for Airplay, screen content can also be cast wirelessly from a smartphone, tablet, or PC to the screen.
