Behind the name X1827 is a 3D-DLP projector by Acer, whose main features include 4000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 10000:1 and a UHD (4K2K) 3840 x 2160 resolution. According to Acer, the lamp has a durability of 5000 hours, achieving a lifespan of 6.8 years when used for 2 hours a day. To ensure a rectangular image even with asymmetrical placement, the projector includes digital keystone correction for both the horizontal and vertical axes. A look at the light output reveals: The 4000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 643 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 429 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P and 4K as well as 3D are supported, meaning standard Blu-ray formats are processed effortlessly. Since the projector supports Miracast and Airplay screen mirroring, video signals can also be streamed wirelessly from the end device. The projector was released in 2023 and is officially no longer distributed by Acer.
