The CX 660 is a LCD projector by ChiStar, whose specifications list 2400 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 500:1 and a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution. In operating mode, the installed projector lamp offers a lifespan of 4000 hours – mathematically sufficient for 5.5 years based on two hours of use per day. Looking at practical performance, up to 427 cm can be illuminated with 2400 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 285 cm. The model is currently no longer actively offered on the market by the manufacturer.
