Behind the name S7+ is a LCD projector by Caiwei, whose main features include 2400 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 23000:1 and a HDTV 1920 x 1080 resolution. The LED unit of this model is rated for up to 30000 hours of runtime – calculating to 20.5 years at four hours of use per day. Looking at practical performance, up to 498 cm can be illuminated with 2400 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 332 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P and 4K. With the Google TV operating system, the projector acts as a media hub with centralized access to various apps. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. Thanks to support for Miracast, screen content can also be cast wirelessly from a smartphone, tablet, or PC to the screen.
