The AL-FU850A model from Appotronics combines DLP technology in the Stationary sector with 8500 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 100000:1 and a native WUXGA 1920 x 1200 resolution. With its built-in laser light source, the projector achieves a manufacturer-stated lifespan of 20000 hours – calculating to 13.7 years at four hours of use per day. To facilitate room installation, the device is equipped with mechanical lens shift and additional keystone correction, allowing the projected image to be positioned with immense flexibility. The optical system is designed for the use of interchangeable lenses, allowing for a tailor-made configuration for almost any throw ratio. The Distance Calculator is available to calculate the exact dimensions. A look at the light output reveals: The 8500 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 937 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 625 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content as well as 3D. Furthermore, the model supports 360° projections for highly flexible deployment scenarios. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. Since entering the market in 2019, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
