Model Overview A projector from Ampro is the ALICE 5500, whose DLP model delivers 5500 ANSI lumens, a resolution of XGA 1024 x 768 and a contrast of 180:1.
The specifications indicate lens shift optics, allowing the image to be physically shifted without digital image artifacts. The Projection Calculator is available for room planning.
Looking at practical performance, up to 646 cm can be illuminated with 5500 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 431 cm.
The model is currently no longer actively offered on the market by the manufacturer.
