The E5X36 laser DLP projector from Changhong has 3600 Ansi lumens, a contrast of 35000:1 and an XGA 1024 x 768 resolution. The manufacturer specifies a laser service life of 25000 hours, which converts to over 17.1 years at 4 hours per day. As this is a short-throw projector, it can be placed very close to the wall. For a 2 m wide picture, the projector only needs to be 56 cm away from the screen. Even 1080P playback is no problem for the projector.
