The Changhong model CHiQ B8U is a DLP laser projector with UHD (4K2K) 3840 x 2160 resolution and a contrast of 15000:1. Due to the laser, the projector is specified with 25000 hours of light life, which is over 17.1 years with a daily viewing time of 4 hours. The integrated media player can play files directly. With a projection ratio of just 0.21:1, this projector never gets in the way. For a 2m wide image, the projector only needs to be 42 cm away from the screen. The model recognizes Chromecast, screen mirroring signals, so it is possible to play videos with high resolution and surround sound directly via WLAN from a smartphone, tablet or PC (Android, Windows and iOS). Thanks to the Bluetooth function, the projector can also be flexibly paired with other speakers. Video signals 1080P and 4K as well as 3D are also no problem for the projector, meaning that all currently available Blu-ray formats can be recognized by the projector. With only 28.7 decibels of operating noise, the model is already very quiet compared to others.
