Based on LCD technology, the Wanbo Cube 1 device delivers 250 ANSI lumens, a resolution of HDTV 1920 x 1080 and a contrast of 2000:1 as a projector. The LED unit of this model is rated for up to 30000 hours of runtime – equivalent to a usable life of 20.5 years at 4 hours a day. Because the manufacturer specifies brightness in ISO lumen values, we have determined an ANSI lumen value for better comparability. Looking at practical performance, up to 227 cm can be illuminated with 250 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 151 cm. Additionally, a built-in ambient light sensor measures the room lighting and automatically adjusts the projection settings. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. For wireless audio output, the projector also supports Bluetooth, making it easy to quickly connect external soundbars. Thanks to support for Airplay and Chromecast, screen content can also be cast wirelessly from a smartphone, tablet, or PC to the screen. In the specifications, the operating noise is listed at a mere 28 decibels, indicating very quiet cooling.
