Based on LCD technology, the Vivitar DP 1100S device delivers 1100 ANSI lumens, a resolution of SVGA 800 x 600 and a contrast of 400:1 as a projector. According to Vivitar, the lamp has a durability of 1500 hours. Should a perpendicular setup to the screen not be possible, the integrated keystone correction (horizontal and vertical) helps to realign the image into a perfect rectangle. Regarding projection size, the value of 1100 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 289 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 193 cm. This device is no longer manufactured and has been removed from Vivitar's current lineup.
