A projector from UTAX is the DXL 5032, whose LCD model delivers 3200 ANSI lumens, a resolution of XGA 1024 x 768 and a contrast of 800:1. The manufacturer lists the lamp life at 2000 hours. For basic image adjustment, the device is equipped with horizontal and vertical keystone correction, allowing digital compensation for trapezoidal distortion at angled projection setups. A look at the light output reveals: The 3200 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 493 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 329 cm. The projector was released in 2005 and is officially no longer distributed by UTAX.
