This projector is named PD 2810 W, originates from Targa, and its data sheet shows 1000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 1000:1 and a resolution of WVGA 854 x 480. The manufacturer specifies a runtime of 2000 hours for this projector's lamp. For distortion-free image alignment, the projector offers both a lens shift function and keystone correction. The amount of leeway the lens provides can be checked in the Projector Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 321 cm can be illuminated with 1000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 214 cm. Since entering the market in 2005, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.

In the description above the db information is missing I read a test in a Dutch magazine there are in NORMAL MODE 28 db and in ECOMODUS even 26 db specified !!!! Good right !!! And I have already looked at it in operation, so that you can hear this projector you have to lie with your ear on the housing and for the rest I agree with the previous speakers !!! byby

Targa PD-2810W Optimal projector for the smaller purse
Moin,
I just wanted to give my opinion on this projector because I am positively surprised by it.
I bought this projector for 400 € including lamp and 2 years warranty.
It works perfectly and contrast, picture sharpness and quality are really top.
The best thing about it is that you can also play games (Pc games) with it, which I didn‘t know before. I can play Battlefield 2 smoothly with this projector on a 2 x 2 meter screen, in my case a normal white painted wall. Counter Strike Source and 1.6 can also be played without any problems.
The volume during operation of the projector is not noticeable, not even in quiet places in the movie.
So for me the perfect home cinema solution. I can really only recommend it.
Best regards,
Christoph S.

Photos from laptop
Hello, I have a question. How can I optimize the color reproduction of digital photos? My attempts to transfer the photos to the screen have been miserable: wrong colors, poor resolution. Connection through the supplied d-sub cable

Price-performance very good
I have been using the projector for over a year, as has a friend of mine. As always, to achieve good picture quality you need an excellent 16:9 screen and a well-darkened room. The settings are varied so that calibration is possible and also necessary to get a good picture. The screen should not be more than 200cm wide, otherwise the resolution is too low. mine runs without any problems, whereas my friend had a repair - warranty case that was handled very quickly and without any problems. We are both very satisfied and I see the Targa as a good entry-level model for home theater enjoyment. I will certainly be sticking with it for some time to come.
