As a projector, the Mentech HY300 Pro combines LCD technology with a resolution of HDTV 1280 x 720, and is additionally specified with 200 ANSI lumens and a contrast of 10000:1. As an LED projector, the spec sheet indicates a lifespan of 30000 hours – equivalent to a usable life of 20.5 years at 4 hours a day. To ensure a rectangular image even with asymmetrical placement, the projector includes digital keystone correction for both the horizontal and vertical axes. Regarding projection size, the value of 200 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 144 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 96 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. Furthermore, the model is Bluetooth-enabled, allowing audio signals to be sent wirelessly to external speakers. Thanks to support for Miracast, Airplay and DLNA, screen content can also be cast wirelessly from a smartphone, tablet, or PC to the screen. In the specifications, the operating noise is listed at a mere 25 decibels, indicating very quiet cooling.
