The projector Legend LX-8 by Lightware utilizes LCD technology and, according to the spec sheet, achieves 696 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 150:1 at a resolution of XGA 1024 x 768. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 1000 hours before a replacement is necessary. To ensure objective comparability, an approximate ANSI lumen value was calculated based on the lumen specifications. A look at the light output reveals: The 696 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 230 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 153 cm. The model is currently no longer actively offered on the market by the manufacturer.
