The VPL EW225 model is a LCD projector from Sony, intended for Standard-Portabel applications, offering 2600 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2300:1 at WXGA 1280 x 800. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 3000 hours before a replacement is necessary. A look at the light output reveals: The 2600 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 518 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 345 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. Equipped with a microphone jack and built-in speakers (8W), audio signals during presentations can be played back directly without an external audio system. This model dates back to 2012 and is no longer part of Sony's current product range.
