As a projector, the Ricoh PJ HDC5420 combines DLP technology with a resolution of HDTV 1920 x 1080, and is additionally specified with 2500 ANSI lumens and a contrast of 9000:1. The manufacturer specifies a runtime of 3000 hours for this projector's lamp. Regarding projection size, the value of 2500 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 508 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 339 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. Thanks to MHL support, screen content from mobile devices can be transmitted via cable, including charging power for the device. This model dates back to 2016 and is no longer part of Ricoh's current product range.
