As a projector for the Standard-Portabel sector, the Epson EB W16 is equipped with 3000 ANSI lumens, a WXGA 1280 x 800 resolution and a contrast of 5000:1. According to Epson, the lamp has a durability of 4000 hours, achieving a lifespan of 5.5 years when used for 2 hours a day. The image geometry can be adjusted via the built-in keystone correction so that a clean, rectangular display is achieved even with non-ideal placement. Looking at practical performance, up to 556 cm can be illuminated with 3000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 371 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P as well as 3D are supported. As an additional feature, an integrated media player enables the direct playback of files without an external source device. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. This model dates back to 2013 and is no longer part of Epson's current product range.
