The EB-L400U model from Epson combines LCD technology in the Stationary sector with 4500 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2500000:1 and a native WUXGA 1920 x 1200 resolution. With its laser unit, the projector offers a specified light lifespan of 20000 hours. With four hours of daily operation, this corresponds to a period of 13.7 years. The image geometry can be adjusted via the built-in keystone correction so that a clean, rectangular display is achieved even with non-ideal placement. Regarding projection size, the value of 4500 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 682 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 455 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content, and also offers the technical capability for 360° projection. As an additional feature, an integrated media player enables the direct playback of files without an external source device. Regarding professional networking, the device offers a classic RJ45 LAN port for control alongside HDBaseT for the lossless transmission of picture and sound over long distances. This model dates back to 2018 and is no longer part of Epson's current product range.
