The technical data of the Casio XJ A250 includes 3000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 1800:1 as well as a WXGA 1280 x 800 display. Thanks to LED technology, the projector is rated for a lifespan of up to 20000 hours – calculating to 13.7 years at four hours of use per day. Looking at practical performance, up to 556 cm can be illuminated with 3000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 371 cm. This model dates back to 2010 and is no longer part of Casio's current product range.

If the 3000lm are just as far-fetched as the 2600 of the smaller brother, then you can congratulate yourself as a buyer. Brilliant colors... sorry, but when a red becomes red/black and a blue becomes purple, then i have to ask myself: which device was judged?
Advertising a life expectancy of 20,000 hours and only guaranteeing 6000 is just as surprising as the cover, which is closed with 2 screws and gives access to the blue laser unit... as with classic lamp projectors.
I was able to test the 240 against an almost identically sized, 500g lighter and half as quiet device.
Conclusion: casio may be on the right track with hybrid technology....but the devices currently on offer shouldn‘t be used to "show off".
