As a projector, the Crystal View CV 720BHD combines DLP technology with a resolution of HDTV 1280 x 720, and is additionally specified with 1600 ANSI lumens and a contrast of 2500:1. According to Crystal View, the included lamp lasts up to 2000 hours. The image geometry can be adjusted via the built-in keystone correction so that a clean, rectangular display is achieved even with non-ideal placement. Regarding projection size, the value of 1600 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 406 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 271 cm. Since entering the market in 2007, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
