The A5U UST model from Changhong combines DLP technology in the Short Distance sector with 2500 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 15000:1 and a native UHD (4K2K) 3840 x 2160 resolution. Using this laser phosphor technology, the light source runtime is rated at 25000 hours – calculating to 17.1 years at four hours of use per day. Looking at practical performance, up to 508 cm can be illuminated with 2500 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 339 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content and 4K. As an additional feature, an integrated media player enables the direct playback of files without an external source device. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. This model dates back to 2019 and is no longer part of Changhong's current product range.
