Behind the name HY300 is a Laser-LCD projector by Aubor, whose main features include 200 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 1500:1 and a HDTV 1280 x 720 resolution. The built-in LED technology features a light source lifespan of 30000 hours, which translates to 20.5 years with 4 hours of daily use. To ensure a rectangular image even with asymmetrical placement, the projector includes digital keystone correction for both the horizontal and vertical axes. Looking at practical performance, up to 144 cm can be illuminated with 200 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 96 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P and 4K. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. Furthermore, the model is Bluetooth-enabled, allowing audio signals to be sent wirelessly to external speakers. Thanks to support for Miracast and Airplay, screen content can also be cast wirelessly from a smartphone, tablet, or PC to the screen. In the specifications, the operating noise is listed at a mere 25 decibels, indicating very quiet cooling.
