According to Astarama, the HY300 model provides 200 ANSI lumens, a contrast ratio of 1500:1 alongside a HDTV 1280 x 720 resolution. The LED unit of this model is rated for up to 30000 hours of runtime – calculating to 20.5 years at four hours of use per day. Looking at practical performance, up to 144 cm can be illuminated with 200 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 96 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P and 4K are supported. As an additional feature, an integrated media player enables the direct playback of files without an external source device. Furthermore, the model is Bluetooth-enabled, allowing audio signals to be sent wirelessly to external speakers. Thanks to support for Miracast and Airplay, screen content can also be cast wirelessly from a smartphone, tablet, or PC to the screen. A look at the data sheet confirms a very subtle fan noise for the projector at just 25 decibels.
