The QF12 is a LED-DLP projector by Aopen, whose specifications list 2083 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 1000:1 and a HDTV 1920 x 1080 resolution. Thanks to LED technology, the projector is rated for a lifespan of up to 30000 hours, which translates to 20.5 years with 4 hours of daily use. The image geometry can be adjusted via the built-in keystone correction so that a clean, rectangular display is achieved even with non-ideal placement. To make performance data comparable based on the LED lumen values, we calculated an approximate ANSI lumen value. Looking at practical performance, up to 464 cm can be illuminated with 2083 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 309 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. Since entering the market in 2020, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model. However, it remains frequently searched within our database.
