The MULTIPIC 8.1 model from Overmax combines DLP technology in the Game-Portabel sector with 350 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 10000:1 and a native WVGA 854 x 480 resolution. An LED lifespan of 30000 hours is noted in the data sheet for this model, covering an estimated 20.5 years based on a 4-hour daily runtime. Should a perpendicular setup to the screen not be possible, the integrated keystone correction (horizontal and vertical) helps to realign the image into a perfect rectangle. To reduce dependence on stationary power sources, the model is equipped with a built-in battery for autonomous operation. Looking at practical performance, up to 190 cm can be illuminated with 350 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 127 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P and 4K. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. For wireless audio output, the projector also supports Bluetooth, making it easy to quickly connect external soundbars. Regarding noise emissions, the model proves to be exceptionally quiet during operation, producing just 28 decibels.
