The R1 is a LED-LCD projector by Zenwire, whose specifications list 250 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 1500:1 and a HDTV 1280 x 720 resolution. An LED lifespan of 30000 hours is noted in the data sheet for this model, which translates to 20.5 years with 4 hours of daily use. To compensate for angled projection positions, the model features 2D keystone correction, which digitally corrects trapezoidal distortion. Regarding projection size, the value of 250 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 161 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 107 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P and 4K. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. For wireless audio output, the projector also supports Bluetooth, making it easy to quickly connect external soundbars. Thanks to support for Miracast and Airplay, screen content can also be cast wirelessly from a smartphone, tablet, or PC to the screen. A look at the data sheet confirms a very subtle fan noise for the projector at just 28 decibels.
