As a projector, the Yaber Y31 combines LCD technology with a resolution of HDTV 1920 x 1080, and is additionally specified with 480 ANSI lumens and a contrast of 10000:1. Thanks to LED technology, the projector is rated for a lifespan of up to 90000 hours – equivalent to a usable life of 61.6 years at 4 hours a day. The image geometry can be adjusted via the built-in keystone correction so that a clean, rectangular display is achieved even with non-ideal placement. Because the manufacturer specifies brightness in lumen specifications, we have determined an ANSI lumen value for better comparability. A look at the light output reveals: The 480 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 223 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 149 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. The projector was released in 2021 and is officially no longer distributed by Yaber. This model continues to hold a solid place in our database search queries.
