A projector from Vivitek is the RU76953, whose 3D-LED-DLP model delivers 9000 ANSI lumens, a resolution of WUXGA 1920 x 1200 and a contrast of 150000:1. With its built-in laser light source, the projector achieves a manufacturer-stated lifespan of 20000 hours – calculating to 13.7 years at four hours of use per day. Regarding setup flexibility, the model features an optical lens shift function alongside digital keystone correction, allowing for precise alignment without distortion. The specifications identify the device as a model with an interchangeable lens option. Matching optional optics allow for exact adaptation to the required image size and projection distance, which can be calculated directly with the Projection Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 9000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 964 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 643 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P and 4K as well as 3D are supported, meaning standard Blu-ray formats are processed effortlessly. Regarding professional networking, the device offers a classic RJ45 LAN port for control alongside HDBaseT for the lossless transmission of picture and sound over long distances. Since entering the market in 2019, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
