Based on DLP technology, the Viewsonic X1-4K Pro device delivers 2500 ANSI lumens, a resolution of UHD (4K2K) 3840 x 2160 and a contrast of 3500000:1 as a projector. As an LED projector, the spec sheet indicates a lifespan of 60000 hours, covering an estimated 41.1 years based on a 4-hour daily runtime. Thanks to the combination of optical lens shift and digital keystone correction, the projected image's position can be adjusted very flexibly. The Projector Calculator helps find the optimal installation dimensions. To make performance data comparable based on the lumen specifications, we calculated an approximate ANSI lumen value. Looking at practical performance, up to 508 cm can be illuminated with 2500 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 339 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content and 4K as well as 3D, and also offers the technical capability for 360° projection. With the Google TV operating system, the projector acts as a media hub with centralized access to various apps. As an additional feature, an integrated media player enables the direct playback of files without an external source device. For wireless audio output, the projector also supports Bluetooth, making it easy to quickly connect external soundbars.
