The manufacturer specifies a runtime of 2000 hours for this projector's lamp. Looking at practical performance, up to 337 cm can be illuminated with 1500 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 225 cm. The projector was released in 2005 and is officially no longer distributed by Viewsonic.

Have had this projector from ViewSonic for 600 hours now.
Bought it second-hand in the bay and use/torture it as a TV replacement.
Also on and off at least once a day.It does make a bit of noise, but the surround sound system drowns it out.
So far I can‘t find anything negative apart from the sound level and the light output, which isn‘t that strong.
Lamp prices are beyond good and bad, but if the original one fails, we‘ll tinker with it. ^^
