With the XL 420 UST, Specktron offers a Laser-LCD projector that features 2700 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2000:1 and a resolution of XGA 1024 x 768. In operating mode, the installed projector lamp offers a lifespan of 4000 hours – mathematically sufficient for 5.5 years based on two hours of use per day. The short-throw capabilities allow for large images at a short projection distance. According to specifications, a 2-meter wide image requires a distance of only 66 cm. A look at the light output reveals: The 2700 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 453 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 302 cm. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. Since entering the market in 2012, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
